75% of all proceeds of this product goes towards funding a Lobbyist for Creative Arts Therapists in New York State, as they are currently the only licensed mental health practitioners who were not represented in Albany by a Lobbyist.

14% of all mental health practitioners in New York State are Creative Arts Therapists, yet they were removed from Bill A1171A at the last moment by Governor Kathy Hochul on December 30th 2022, and were removed from the pocket veto window on January 18th 2023.

Creative Arts Therapists (CATs) are comprised of Art Therapists, Music Therapists, Dance/Movement Therapists and Drama Therapists, who are master degree-level practitioners. 

This last minute decision will drastically reduce the availability of affordable mental health care options at a time when New Yorkers desperately need MORE affordable access, not less.
